On Monday, August 18, Hennadiy Nadolenko began work as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Malaysia.
He reported this on Facebook.
“I was in Kyiv on Saturday, and today I begin my mission as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Malaysia,” Nadolenko wrote.
The diplomat emphasized the strategic importance of Malaysia in world politics and the international economy.
“Malaysia is not just the second largest economy in Southeast Asia. It is a leading state that combines economic power, cultural diversity, innovative breakthroughs and wise governance. Its influence in the region and the world continues to grow, making Malaysia a key player in world politics and the international economy,” the diplomat wrote.
According to him, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga have high hopes for the resumption of political and economic cooperation with Malaysia, as well as for expanding interaction in all other key areas.
“Ukraine sees Malaysia not just as a partner, but as an ally in the formation of a new architecture of security, economic growth, and cultural interaction in Asia and the world. We are committed to cooperation that knows no limits,” Nadolenko summed up.
As a reminder, on July 21, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had appointed 16 new ambassadors who will represent Kyiv’s interests abroad, including Hennadiy Nadolenko.
