Global demand for power-intensive data centers is growing exponentially as companies seek to develop and implement artificial intelligence, benefiting electrical equipment manufacturers like Eaton.
Last year, Eaton expanded its data center supply network to Europe by investing an undisclosed amount in NordicEPOD, a company that orders power modules for data centers.
Fibrebond, based in Minden, Louisiana, designs and manufactures equipment used by data centers, industrial plants, utilities and communications companies.
According to Eaton, the company's adjusted core profit is expected to be $110 million in 2025.
Eaton added that Fibrebond power cabinets, which allow for off-site installation and testing, help customers get up and running faster and at lower cost.
The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025.
