Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak stated that, together with Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, he held a meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

The Ukrainian delegation arrived in Doha on Monday, August 26. According to Yermak, the parties discussed the results of the leaders’ summit in Washington, the progress of the peace process, and the details of security guarantees for Ukraine.
Special attention was paid to humanitarian issues, in particular, Qatar was thanked for its assistance in the return of illegally displaced Ukrainian children.
“Our main goal remains unchanged – a stable and just peace. Ukraine continues to demonstrate its consistent position to the whole world,” Yermak emphasized.
He also added that meetings are planned in a number of other countries.
