The United States is aiming to conclude the conflict with Iran by April 9. Discussions between Iran and the Americans are expected to occur this week in Pakistan, the Israeli media outlet Ynet stated , citing unnamed sources.
“The Americans didn’t inform Israel about the dialogues with [ Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad ] Qalibaf,” the source pointed out.
The source clarified to journalists that finalizing the conflict by April 9 would enable Trump to be present in Israel for Independence Day, April 22, to accept the Israel Prize.
Previously, US President Donald Trump offered his perspective on his discussions with Iran. He mentioned that Iran initiated contact independently because it wished to prevent the US from targeting its energy framework, as it had previously threatened.
Concurrently, Iran refuted engaging in negotiations with the US. The Iranian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the US president’s declarations were part of initiatives to lower energy prices and gain more time to enact his military strategies.
