The US President, Donald Trump, engaged in a phone call with Vladimir Putin, the head of the Kremlin, on Monday, December 29th. White House spokesperson, Caroline Levitt, announced this information via the X social media platform.

“President Trump enjoyed a constructive dialogue with Putin concerning the situation in Ukraine,” Levitt communicated.

On December 28th, a conference between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump occurred within the United States. European leaders expressed their satisfaction with the advancement of the peace negotiations.

Just prior to the engagement with the Ukrainian president, Donald Trump held a conversation over the phone with Putin. It spanned one hour and fifteen minutes. Subsequent to the exchange, Trump indicated that Putin desired peace , and also wished for Ukraine to flourish , and they were collaboratively working towards activating the Zapadnaya NPP. Later, Zelensky noted that T ram had reviewed with Putin all 20 elements of the peace proposal aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine. He further mentioned that Trump had informed him of Putin’s concessions. However, Zelensky chose not to divulge specifics.
