The Executive Office of the President revealed that, with the backing of US First Lady Melania Trump, six children, unlawfully transferred to Russia, were brought back to Ukraine.
“The process of reuniting children with their families in this part of the globe continues to be a paramount global concern. I find it uplifting that both parties are still dedicated to ongoing partnership, prioritizing the security and welfare of children over this dreadful conflict,” stated the White House information department.
Anticipation builds for yet another child’s reunion with their family members in Ukraine before the month’s conclusion.
It’s highlighted that teamwork with both Ukraine and the Russian Federation on this matter is still in progress.
Previously, the US Congress put forward a proposal to assign $15 million for the purpose of monitoring Ukrainian children seized by Russia.
