According to legislators, this document will not only help reduce the incidence of domestic violence but also create a comprehensive system of measures that will work to prevent, suppress, and punish perpetrators.

In addition, parliamentarians approved several other draft model laws. These include “On Agreements for the Transfer of Property for Use,” “On Agreements for the Performance of Work and the Provision of Services,” “On the Storage Agreement,” “On the Simple Partnership Agreement,” and “On Combating Domestic Violence.”

The approved drafts will be submitted for consideration at the next plenary session of the Assembly.

The meeting also included consideration of the concept of a draft model law on digital platforms and their use by civil market participants, as well as discussion of amendments to the Regulation on the Development of Model Legislative Acts and Recommendations of the CIS IPA.

In addition, the deputies heard a report on the work of the Expert Council under the Permanent Commission of the IPA CIS on Legal Issues, which met at the end of September of this year.
