Russia is still aiding the Iranian government amid the rising tension in the Middle East. Ukraine is keenly observing this collaboration and has already conveyed pertinent data to Western allies.
This was proclaimed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a press conference in Kyiv.
The head of state affirmed that Moscow is transferring specific types of armaments and technologies to the Iranian party. Ukrainian intelligence has documented these actions, and Kyiv has already notified allies regarding the specifics of such alliance, notably in the context of Shahed drones.
Zelensky revealed encouraging news for Ukraine: Tehran has presently halted reciprocal supply of missile weaponry to Russia.
“The favorable aspect is that, from my perspective, the Iranians are not presently supplying Russia with their missiles to strike us, and other armaments too, that's a benefit,” the president underscored.
It is evident that the rising tension in the Middle East is compelling Iran to amass all accessible military resources for its own necessities, which restricts the Kremlin's abilities in the war against Ukraine.
What assistance does Ukraine offer?
Amid consistent assaults on American military outposts and threats to civilians in the Middle East, Ukraine has seized the lead. With its extensive expertise in battling Iranian drones and missiles, Kyiv has proposed functional aid to Washington.
“From our end, we have messages about how to aid civilians and American soldiers in the Middle East in certain nations. We discussed the willingness to dispatch specialists, and if they are furnished with protection, yes, we are attempting to assist,” Zelenskyy stated.
The participation of Ukrainian military professionals could considerably bolster the allies' capabilities in countering Iranian air threats.
