The president communicated this in a discussion with Bloomberg.

Per Zelensky, over the period of the comprehensive war, Ukraine has amassed distinct expertise in battling Iranian drones, notably the Shahed model, which Russia is broadly utilizing against Ukrainian settlements. This know-how, according to him, could prove beneficial for the region’s nations, which presently encounter similar assaults.

“I would propose the following: the leaders of the Middle Eastern countries maintain solid affiliations with the Russians. They could request Russia to consent to a month-long halt in hostilities,” he remarked.

The President appended that should a ceasefire be accomplished, Ukraine stands ready to send its drone interception specialists to the region’s countries. As he states, these comprise the foremost teams of operatives and professionals capable of aiding in shielding the civilian populace from aggressions.

He also implied that the ceasefire could be reduced or prolonged — spanning from a fortnight to a couple of months, conditional on the accords between the factions.

Zelenskyy proposed this following a succession of cities in the Middle East, including Dubai, undergoing strikes by Iranian drones and projectiles in response to US and Israeli assaults on Iranian objectives.

Simultaneously, Moscow has previously frequently dismissed Washington’s appeals for a halt in combat in Ukraine, thereby leaving it doubtful whether the Kremlin is inclined to alter its stance.

The Kremlin conveyed that Russian President Vladimir Putin held phone conversations with the leaders of the Persian Gulf countries impacted by Iranian attacks, explicitly with the governing bodies of Bahrain, the UAE, and Qatar. It also declared that it preserves consistent interaction with the Iranian administration.

Zelenskyy underlined that nations such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar possess intimate fiscal connections with Russia and could employ their sway to encourage a ceasefire. He further observed that Ukraine is willing to assist partners in the region to reinforce aerial defense and counter drones.

An additional country has initiated assistance to the Iranian ayatollahs — and it isn’t Russia. Meanwhile, Ukraine is solicited to impart its singular skill in bringing down Iranian “Shaheeds.” Kyiv is prepared to assist those who aided us, states President Zelensky.
