The US President, Donald Trump, mentioned that a definitive determination regarding a prospective offensive against Iran might be reached shortly, specifically within the next ten days.
He communicated this point during an address to the Peace Council on February 19.
“We may need to extend our actions, or maybe not. You will likely know within the upcoming 10 days,” Trump declared.
He also reiterated his appeal to Tehran to finalize a fresh atomic agreement with the United States, underscoring that refusal could lead to severe consequences for Iran.
“It’s opportune for Iran to collaborate with us. Should they accept, that would be beneficial. Should they decline, that remains an option, albeit a drastically different course. Absent a deal, undesirable outcomes will materialize,” the American president stated.
Previously, the Pentagon advised the administration that the US Armed Forces stand prepared to engage Iran as soon as the approaching weekend.
Simultaneously, according to US government sources, the president has yet to arrive at a conclusive verdict.
