According to his viewpoint, this constitutes merely an effort to divert focus away from what he termed “the most triumphant initial 100 days of his presidential term in the nation’s history.”

US President Donald Trump stated he has no plans to dismiss any of his collaborators following the controversy surrounding the disclosure of data from a group discussion on the Signal platform, which addressed strategies for attacking the Houthis in Yemen.
As reported by NBC News, the reporter was unintentionally included in a chat group that featured National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and numerous high-ranking government representatives. A participant even shared a comprehensive agenda of the airstrikes — even before their commencement.
Addressing the matter, Trump stressed that he still has faith in Waltz and Hegseth:
“Yes, I have confidence in them. This is simply another witch hunt. False reporting, nothing more,” he commented.
“We executed a very potent, extremely forceful assault. Incredibly successful. Yet no one acknowledges it. Everyone is discussing irrelevant matters,” the president appended.
He further underscored his non-involvement in the sensational exchanges:
“I am unfamiliar with what Signal is. I am indifferent to its nature. It is merely another spectacle for the media because they lack any alternative subject to cover,” Trump elucidated.
To reiterate, a journalist from The Atlantic inadvertently secured entrance to highly confidential conversations between American officials pertaining to the military operation against the Houthis in Yemen — all attributable to an error by Trump’s national security advisor, Michael Waltz, who incorporated the editor into a private discussion in Signal.
