Trump’s remarks surfaced soon after Ali Khamenei’s profile on the X platform disseminated a chain of messages, holding the U.S. president accountable for lethal brutality and turbulence within Iran.
“We consider the U.S. president culpable for the sacrifices, deprivations, and defamation he has brought upon the Iranian populace,” one of the entries states.
In retort, Trump held Ayatollah Khamenei’s administration accountable for the suppression and savagery it employs to govern the land.
“As the nation’s leader, he is culpable for the utter ruination of the country and the application of force on an unprecedented scale,” the American president expressed.
According to him, the supreme religious leader of Iran is not effectively leading his country but is eliminating thousands of individuals to preserve his dominance over it.
“Governance is about esteem, not dread and fatality,” Trump included.
The U.S. president has generally denounced Khamenei and the Iranian system of government.
