Simultaneously, the Kremlin callously asserts the significance of “steering the surge towards a tranquil path.”

Russian Foreign Ministry representative Maria Zakharova rebuked the US, claiming its approach “endured a total failure” subsequent to the truce with Iran.
An authority from the invader nation articulated this on the broadcast of the propaganda broadcasting service “Radio Sputnik.”
Zakharova labeled Operation Epic Fury a “belligerent and unwarranted assault.” This tactic, she emphatically noted, had faced a “devastating setback.”
It should be emphasized that the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry avoided mentioning specific names in her declaration. Nevertheless, from her remarks it is quite evident that she is alluding to US President Donald Trump.
“All the pronouncements that the pivotal aspect is to be more combative, more antagonistic… The pivotal aspect is to post more on social platforms. They assert that “triumph” is imminent. Again, this stance has sustained a shattering defeat,” Zakharova stated.
Ceasefire in Iran — Kremlin statement
In contrast, the representative for the Russian “Führer,” Dmitry Peskov, exhibited greater restraint in his commentary. As he put it, Moscow “received the reports of the truce with delight.” He cynically added that the Kremlin “embraces” this “highly crucial” decision by the United States “to cease assaults on serene Iranian installations.”
Evidently, the Kremlin representative overlooked the Russian Federation's strikes on civilians in Ukraine and Moscow's reluctance to seek reconciliation, because in his remarks he lauded the provisional ceasefire in Iran at great length. Specifically, he shamelessly underscored the significance of “channeling this surge towards a non-violent course” and the necessity of safeguarding interests “not via armed intervention, but at the negotiating forum.”
As a reminder, late on the evening of April 7, Donald Trump proclaimed that the US would pause attacks on Iran for a fortnight. In his view, America had attained a “total and unconditional victory” after finalizing this accord.
Concurrently, the White House elaborated that the United States “achieved and surpassed key military goals in 38 days.” Spokeswoman Caroline Levitt further declared a “triumph” for the Americans, extolling the endeavors of their forces in the conflict with Iran.
However, the US-Iran peace arrangement did not endure even a single day . On April 8, Iran declared an onslaught on the US and Israel and launched missiles at the UAE and Kuwait. Subsequently, Israel delivered the most forceful counterblow against Lebanon.
