On February 26, discussions occurred in Geneva between representatives from the United States and Iran; however, the entities failed to come to a consensus.

This is conveyed by The Wall Street Journal.

As per sources, the American delegation included Donald Trump's emissaries, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. They posited that Iran is required to decommission its three primary atomic installations – situated in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan – and furthermore, dispatch its entire current supply of enriched uranium to the United States.

Furthermore, Washington insists the forthcoming atomic arrangement should be perpetual, unlike prior deals made during the Barack Obama administration.

It’s worth recalling that during his initial presidential tenure, Donald Trump pulled the United States from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and reimposed stringent sanctions upon Tehran.

Conversely, Iran has declined the proposition to relocate its uranium reserve internationally. Tehran is also unwilling to consent to ceasing uranium enrichment, deconstructing atomic sites, or instituting enduring constraints on its atomic agenda.

In spite of the absence of a significant advancement, the Omani Foreign Minister and the US envoy communicated some headway and the potential for another conference. According to the Omani side, conversations at a technical level could proceed in Vienna the following week.

In the meantime, Donald Trump previously declared in a Congressional address that Iran is actively pursuing the creation of atomic weaponry and ballistic missiles capable of reaching the US mainland. He also acknowledged the possibility of military engagement if diplomatic endeavors are unsuccessful and, simultaneously, amplified the military presence in the vicinity.

It was earlier documented that US President Donald Trump is cautioning Iran with military offensives if the nation’s authorities reject entering into an atomic accord.

We previously indicated that Tehran dispatched signals to Washington concerning its readiness to re-evaluate its strategies toward its atomic endeavor.
