This signifies a considerable readiness for potential force employment, as such aircraft ensure the range and endurance of warplane flights, a crucial aspect during extensive air offensives.

Trump is nearing a determination

Previously, CBS News and CNN sources indicated that US President Donald Trump is approaching a choice regarding large-scale assaults on Iran. According to them, the American armed forces will be prepared for prospective attacks as early as Saturday, February 21.

However, a definitive decision remains pending. Insiders suggest the timeframe for a potential strike could extend beyond the approaching weekend.

One source mentioned Trump has privately expressed both backing and opposition to a forceful approach. The president is also consulting with advisors and allies to attempt to identify the most effective strategy.

According to US media outlets, the White House has already been apprised of the military’s readiness for strikes. This became feasible following a substantial increase in the US air and naval deployment in the Middle East in recent days.

Axios previously stated the US and Iran were on the verge of a widespread conflict. Sources claimed the operation could be a prolonged campaign lasting several weeks.

Concurrently, Israel is bracing for a possible intensification. Discrete consultations with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have addressed the likelihood of Iran launching missile attacks on Israel, even without the IDF’s direct involvement in a potential US operation. Consequently, emergency services and civil defense organizations have been instructed to prepare for battle. Security entities have announced the highest state of alert.
