A joyous birthday celebration in Bulandshahr, India, turned into a shocking misfortune. The birthday celebrant shot and killed three companions following a cake-related prank.

The practice of applying cake to the face of the person celebrating their birthday is quite customary in numerous nations and is generally regarded as harmless amusement. However, on this occasion, the innocent jest evolved into a lethal disagreement.
The occurrence transpired at a fitness center in the Khurja region of the city. It was there that 33-year-old Jitu Saini was commemorating his special day with acquaintances. During the festivities, some of them playfully applied cake to his face, but this action provoked an intense response from the person celebrating his birthday.
As per witnesses, a fierce dispute erupted between the men. Subsequently, Jeethu departed the location, but later came back accompanied by a group of individuals and firearms.
The brother of one of the departed, Sanjay Saini, stated that the suspect contacted him that very evening complaining about the supposed lack of respect from friends and employing offensive language. The man attempted to pacify the birthday celebrant and pledged to resolve the issue the following day, but the tragedy was unavoidable.
Upon returning to the fitness center, Jeet Saini discharged a firearm at three men with whom he had previously been in conflict. The assault occurred without warning, and those present did not have sufficient time to react. As a consequence of the gunfire, all three sustained fatal injuries.
“Late in the evening, a report was logged at the Khurja Nagar police station concerning three young men with wounds from gunshots. The police swiftly arrived at the scene. The victims were urgently transported to the medical facility in critical condition, where medical personnel pronounced them dead on arrival,” said police spokesperson Antriksh Jain.
“It came to light that the discord stemmed from an occurrence during a birthday festivity, when one of the deceased smeared cake on the suspect's face. The argument escalated into this sorrowful event,” he further stated.
Up to this point, law enforcement has taken more than 15 individuals into custody for interrogation. In the meantime, the primary suspect, Jeet Saini, is currently being pursued.
