© DTEK Since the launch of the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund in the spring of 2022, more than 1,000 contracts for the supply of equipment have already been concluded.
Slovenia has entered the Energy Support Fund, thus becoming the 37th donating nation aiding the restoration of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure following Russian offensives, as communicated by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine on their official webpage on March 5.
Slovenia is committing a contribution of 500 thousand euros to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine, which will equally be utilized to prepare for the forthcoming winter season.
In total, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine has now secured funding amounting to almost 1.849 billion euros from overseas associates.
From the time the Ukraine Energy Support Fund was initiated in spring 2022, in excess of 1,000 agreements for the provision of apparatus worth approximately 850 million euros have been formalized. As of now, Ukrainian energy firms have received essential energy equipment, services, and passive defense strategies valued at more than 618 million euros under the executed agreements. From mid-November 2025 alone, arrangements surpassing 582 million euros have been signed to bolster the robustness of Ukraine’s energy grid, the ministry stated.
By way of reminder, the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine, overseen by the Energy Community Secretariat, represents one of the most impactful systems for supporting Ukraine’s fuel and power industry. The finances are channeled toward acquiring machinery for energy enterprises and assisting with the rebuilding process after Russia’s assaults on Ukraine.
Ukrainian energy specialists also obtain global humanitarian aid in the form of hardware. Since the inception of the comprehensive invasion, almost two thousand humanitarian consignments with a collective weight of roughly 30 thousand tons have landed in Ukraine for the requirements of the energy domain. This encompasses tools for urgent repairs following enemy bombardments and instruments that enable enhancing the capacity of dispersed generation.
