In Warsaw, a calamitous incident claimed the lives of two Ukrainians, while another individual was admitted to the hospital.
According to details shared by the Warsaw police communications department, a team of workers was undertaking improvements at a site in the Ursynow area of Warsaw when a conflagration occurred during the work, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. Among them were two Ukrainian nationals.
“It is with regret that we confirm the decease of two Ukrainian citizens, and the hospitalization of another,” as indicated in the police statement, cited by Ukrinform.
Warsaw law enforcement also relayed information about a separate event downtown, where a 48-year-old Polish national assaulted a 20-year-old Ukrainian. This assault led to the young man’s critical hospitalization, and the perpetrator was apprehended and is currently in police custody.
In a previous case, a Ukrainian man received a life sentence in Poland for the murder of his spouse and their two offspring.
