Finland keeps backing Ukraine as it withstands Russian intrusion and will furnish a fresh, 32nd allocation of military aid. The determination was given the go-ahead by the nation’s President Alexander Stubb on February 5, 2026, subsequent to the government’s presentation, the Finnish Defense Ministry stated.

The overall expenditure of the allocation approximates 43 million euros. It will encompass, notably, resources and gear procured from Finnish defense producers within the Ukraine backing initiative.

The Finnish Defense Ministry underscored that help to Kyiv is furnished methodically and congruent with the sanctioned approach. From the beginning of the large-scale conflict, Finland has already dispatched military equipment worth approximately 3.2 billion euros to Ukraine.

Defense Minister Antti Häkkinen highlighted that Helsinki will proceed to supply equipment and partake in global alliances geared towards enhancing Ukraine’s defense proficiencies.

The particular inventory of equipment, transport routes, and arrival schedules are not being disclosed for operational considerations. This stems from the requirement to ensure the secure conveyance of assistance.

Concurrently, the Finnish Ministry of Defense pointed out that while assembling the allocation, both the necessities of the Ukrainian military and the aptitudes of its own Armed Forces were contemplated.

It was formerly communicated that Sweden is readying one of the most substantial assistance packages for Ukraine, which will feature air defense apparatus and radars from Saab.
