US President Joe Biden and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy are likely to visit Poland later this month, as Zelenskyy wants to present his 10-point peace plan, according to Polish media.

Biden and Zelenskyy’s plans haven’t been confirmed yet, but both presidents may like to coordinate their visits to meet in Poland, with Warsaw and the southern city of Rzeszów as the two most probable locations, as reported by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.

Zelensky’s visit is “part of a bigger diplomatic plan that Kyiv is going to implement a year after the Russian invasion of Ukraine began,” DGP cited diplomatic sources in Kyiv.

Sources say Zelenskyy plans to present his 10-point plan for ending the war and appeal for the organisation of an international conference on Ukraine.

The plan would include the recognition of the territorial integrity of Ukraine with the borders as they were before 2014. A new element would be negating the so-called border demarcation before 24 February 2022.

There would also be provisions concerning nuclear security, referring to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station, and food security, as well as prisoner swaps and the return of children who were deported to Russia.

During the visit, Zelensky would also touch upon the topic of security guarantees for his country, with the US, Canada, Turkey, the UK, Israel, Germany, and Poland as guarantors.

Meanwhile, discussions continue on whether Poland will deliver its F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, suggested on Monday via social media that Poland was ready to send its jets to Ukraine. However, Polish Deputy Defence Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz later tweeted that the delivery of F-16s “is not a matter of discussion” at the moment.
