The German administration mirrors Ukraine’s worries regarding the potential for Russia to leverage assertions about purported “attacks” on Vladimir Putin’s abode as a justification for heightening the conflict, Deutsche Welle states.
The German government spokesperson noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky refuted the Russian claims and cautioned that Russia might employ this as a justification to perpetuate strikes on Ukraine , alongside declining to undertake the required measures for war cessation.
“We echo this apprehension,” Berlin commented.
Western experts have uncovered no proof that upwards of 90 drones aimed to strike Putin’s domicile in Valdai.
According to them, this could be a misinformation operation designed to provide a rationale for military intensification in Ukraine and the obstruction of peace negotiations. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga also urged the global community not to be deceived by Russia.
Previously, it was disclosed that France also discovered no concrete evidence to validate the “attack” on Putin’s residence. Moldovan President Maia Sandu also voiced her backing for Ukraine, asserting that Russia’s allegations were impeding discussions for peace.
