Since 2010, Amazon has invested $26 billion in Pennsylvania, providing 27,000 full-time and part-time jobs, as well as 37,100 indirect jobs at various facilities.
Amazon will provide local communities with training and education programs, including data center technician programs, fiber optic cable welding workshops, and STEM awareness and learning opportunities for schools in grades one through twelve.

Amazon today announced plans to invest at least $20 billion in Pennsylvania to expand our data center infrastructure to support artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing technologies. The cities of Salem and Falls are the first communities identified as sites for these future innovation campuses. Several other communities in Pennsylvania are under consideration.
This landmark investment is expected to create at least 1,250 new high-skilled jobs, as well as support thousands of other jobs in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) supply chain.
