“We protect them, but they do nothing for us”: Trump sharply criticized NATO

United States President Donald Trump , who has targeted Cuba, made a loud statement on his social network Truth Social. He wrote that America does not need the help of allies in a war with Iran. This is how the US president reacted to the refusal of most NATO countries to support Washington in ensuring security in the Strait of Hormuz, which was blocked by Tehran.

One of the main consequences of the US-Israeli war against Iran was a sharp increase in energy prices. Tehran's blockade of Hormuz led to a rise in fuel prices worldwide, which has had a significant impact on Ukraine. Experts explain that fuel shortages could become a reality, and gas prices for the population and businesses remain under threat.

In his post, Trump spoke sharply about NATO: “I am not surprised by their actions, as I have always considered NATO to be a one-way relationship – we defend them, but they do nothing for us, especially in our time of need.”

Trump also once again stated that the US had already destroyed Iran's military forces – the navy, air force, air defense systems and radars – and had eliminated the country's leaders “at virtually every level.”

“Thanks to our military success, we no longer 'need' or want help from NATO countries – we never did! The same goes for Japan, Australia, and South Korea,” the American president said.

Trump concluded his post by saying that the United States is “undoubtedly the most powerful country in the world” and is capable of confronting any challenges on its own.

It was previously reported that Donald Trump believes that naval drones do not exist, and that their work, which he saw in videos and photos, was created by AI.
