Ukrainian military personnel have reportedly arrived at Prince Sultan Air Base in recent weeks to train American service members on the Sky Map system, which is widely used by the Ukrainian military to detect drones, including Iranian “Shaheeds,” and to launch counterattacks using interceptors.
The Sky Map system is a dashboard with maps and video streams that synthesizes data from radars and sensors to detect approaching threats.

Sky Fortress, the developer of Sky Map, was founded in 2022 by Ukrainian engineers with ties to the military who, according to a source familiar with the company, have deployed more than 10,000 acoustic sensors across Ukraine to detect Russian drone attacks.
