The Kremlin is talking about a truce: what Putin and Trump discussed

US President Donald Trump, who said it would be good to see the Russian dictator at the G20 summit, which is scheduled to take place in Miami in December, spoke with Vladimir Putin by phone.

Their conversation took place at the initiative of the Kremlin. One of the topics they discussed concerned the “truce regime” for May 9, when Russia celebrates Victory Day, writes “TSN”. Trump supported the proposal voiced by Putin. At least, this is what the Russian media is writing about.

With reference to the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, it is noted that Donald Trump informed his interlocutor about the “imminence” of an agreement to end the hostilities in Ukraine. For his part, the Kremlin boss again spoke “about achieving the goals of the SVO in any case,” cynically stating that Moscow “wants to do this through negotiations.”
