“The first is difficult for Zelensky, and the second is for Trump”: two main issues were resolved during the negotiations in Florida

“One thing is difficult for Zelensky, and the other seems to be difficult for President Trump,” Stone says.

According to the journalist, Trump seems reluctant to provide Ukraine with long-standing US military security guarantees, “largely because it seems inconsistent with his worldview, which is that Europe is ultimately Europe's problem.”

“On territory, Zelensky has an extremely difficult issue, as he is being asked to give up territories that Ukraine is fighting to hold on to,” Stone added.

It should be noted that during a conversation with journalists, Donald Trump stated that there are prerequisites for achieving a peace agreement that is good for everyone, and that security guarantees for Ukraine will be “strong.” Before that, he had a conversation with Putin.

Previously, “FACTS” reported that during the briefing between Zelensky and Trump, the legendary phrase of Ukrainian border guards on Zmiiniy Island was heard.
