“Russia is not neutral, we support Iran”: the Russian ambassador made a statement

In the war that has begun in the Middle East, Russia is “not neutral.” It supports Iran. This statement was made by the Russian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Andrei Kelin, Sky News reports.

“Russia supports Iran. We are very negative about what is being done. At the moment, the logic of Western countries is that Iran is to blame for everything,” he said. “But no one is saying that the US and Israel initiated the attack on Iran. And Iran is only responding to this attack. It is simply unfair.”

Kaelin is convinced that the best scenario is an “immediate” end to the war and a “return to a peaceful, negotiated and diplomatic solution.”

Earlier, Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth said he was not concerned about the fact that Iran was receiving information from Russia to strike American military positions. And Donald Trump simply refused to comment on these reports.

As a reminder, on March 5, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Iran had not turned to Russia for any help.

Meanwhile, it became known that the West is counting on Ukrainian defense technologies in its confrontation with Iran.
