According to the resource, anti-drone systems are deployed on Borei-class submarines (NATO classification: Dolgoruky).

The submarine is capable of carrying 16 RSM-56 Bulava submarine-launched ballistic missiles (NATO classification SS-N-30).

Metal nets to combat drones have been spotted above submarines of the Black Sea, Baltic and Northern Fleets.

Such nets can also be seen on Russian surface warships, particularly those operating in the Black Sea.

The publication writes that anti-drone nets are usually located above the bridge of a submarine, protecting the hatch that leads directly to the control room. But the net seen in the satellite images covers the entire boat.

As “FACTS” reported, in April, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed two large landing ships of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea.
