And the ASTRA news channel names two other big money makers who have agreed to continue financing murders in Ukraine. These are billionaires Oleg Deripaska and Vladimir Potanin. According to the Russian resource Mash, the three oligarchs are ready to allocate 430 billion rubles.
The Bell previously claimed, citing its sources, that the idea of “shaking up business in difficult times for the country” was voiced by Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin. However, Putin denied this information. Thus, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the meeting discussed a “voluntary initiative” by businessmen to finance state spending and that many of the meeting participants, who started their businesses in the 1990s and were connected to the state, now consider such actions their duty.
Recall that according to social research by the Russian VTsIOM, Vladimir Putin's rating fell to its lowest point during the period of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine. The number of Russians who trust the Kremlin's master and approve of his work has decreased.
