Prince Harry, who is planning to return to Britain, made his first public appearance in 2026. This happened during a visit to fire stations in the Santa Barbara area. Thus, he wanted to support rescue workers as California prepares for the upcoming wildfire seasons. The Duke of Sussex was delighted to visit the station. John Mills, co-founder and CEO of the Watch Duty fire service, thanked Harry for his wonderful initiative, Geo.tv reports.

The Watch Duty organization shared photos of Harry on its official Instagram, writing: “We are proud to partner with Archewell Philanthropies, Watch Duty's first supporters during the devastating fires in Los Angeles in 2025, and are excited to continue supporting firefighters on the front lines.”
In the photos, Harry inspected the rescue trucks and all-terrain vehicles, as well as thermal imaging search and rescue drones and other specialized equipment used to fight fires.
Recall that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle helped victims of the fires in Los Angeles in every possible way last year.
