Meghan Markle made a wise move to protect her “worried” husband, Prince Harry, as the royal family's crisis over Andrew's ties to Epstein also reached Montecito. Dressed in a stunning strapless gown, Meghan turned heads with her radiant look. The Sussexes have also been seen keeping a low profile since the Andrew and Epstein scandal hit the headlines.
Public relations expert Dermot McNamara said: “Meghan was once seen as a glamorous, glamorous Hollywood star and she reminded people of that at the gala. She is undoubtedly stronger on her own now, because the level of toxicity around the Epstein scandal cannot be overstated.”
Meghan is keen to protect Harry's emotions at a difficult time for the royal family, as they have been publicly questioned about their stance on the Epstein affair.
“Given all the drama in the royal family, Harry is probably feeling anxious and worried about the pressure he will be under from people asking him to talk about what is going on and about Andrew,” Dermot said.
