King Charles's act for Meghan Markle will never let her go against him

It seems unlikely that Meghan Markle will ever go against King Charles, as the monarch's kind act towards her has left a lasting impression. The monarch won Meghan's heart by replacing her father, Thomas Markle, at her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

Charles walked Meghan down the aisle in the absence of Thomas Markle, who was in the hospital with serious heart problems, writes Geo News.

Charles's action made it difficult for Meghan to turn against him, despite the negative dynamics within the royal family. At the time, there was a question of whether Meghan would walk down the aisle herself or be escorted by her mother, Doria Ragland. But in the end, Charles accompanied her.

The Duke of Sussex reportedly asked his father to walk her down the aisle, to which Charles replied: “Yes, of course, I will do whatever Meghan needs and I am here to support you.”

However, according to royal author Robert Hardman, Meghan's reaction was “not quite what he had expected.” In his book, A Queen of Our Time: The Life of Elizabeth II, Hardman wrote: “Compassionate about his future daughter-in-law, the Prince of Wales offered to take part, saying it would be an honour for him to walk Meghan down the aisle of St George's Chapel to the altar. The response, according to one friend, was not quite what he had expected: 'Can we meet halfway?'”

According to the author, the former Hollywood actress's question “was an indicator that this was not a shy bride, but a confident and independent woman who was determined to make a grand entrance on her own.”

Previously, “FACTY” reported on the conditions under which Meghan Markle is ready to come to the UK.
