The 77-year-old monarch was spotted on April 14 in the village of Aboyne near Aberdeen, near Balmoral Castle, where he spent part of his childhood. During the trip, Charles visited the George Stratchan Limited store, which holds a royal warrant, and chatted with local residents.
According to eyewitnesses, no one knew about the visit in advance. The only signal was the police cars that suddenly appeared on the streets, but people did not immediately understand the reason for their appearance.
A local resident said he heard sirens while walking his dog, and a moment later saw several police cars and was surprised to see the king.

As it turned out, the trip was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of a local business. During the visit, Charles was in a good mood, willingly communicating with people and paying attention to the villagers.
It was previously reported that King Charles and Prince William had made a secret agreement.
