In early January of this year, Ukraine received two Patriot systems from Germany. And in the near future, Berlin will provide Kyiv with 5 missiles for this system.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
This was stated by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius after a meeting of Ramstein at NATO headquarters on February 12, reports “European Truth”.
“Regarding air defense, I decided to spontaneously propose at the end of our session that Germany would transfer five additional PAC-3 interceptor missiles to Ukraine if other partner countries collectively transfer 30 PAC-3 units. We all know that this is about saving lives,” Pistorius said, adding that it is a matter of days.
He recalled that Ukraine needs at least $50 billion in 2026 for self-defense.

At the Ramstein format meeting, it was decided that Ukraine would soon receive 35 interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense systems, thirty of which from member states of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine and five more from Germany.
As FAKTY reported, Ukraine is in dire need of air defense missiles. According to President Zelensky, assistance from Western partners “has to be squeezed out.”
