Signs of the crisis can even be traced in official Russian statistics. This is reported by systems analyst Yevgeny Istrebin , who analyzed the statistics of the occupying country.

In particular, he examined the production of goods in three groups – mechanical engineering, chemical industry, and construction for the period from November 2024 to November 2025.

Thus, in mechanical engineering, the decline in production in various groups of goods ranged from 6% (electric motors) to 61% (tractors). At the same time, the decline in the output of various vehicles ranges from 17% (buses) to the same 61% for tractors, and the output of railway cars fell by more than 40%.

In the chemical industry, the decline in production is smaller – from 9% in plates, sheets and films, to 36% in sulfur production. Construction was also less affected than mechanical engineering: here the minimum decrease was achieved in concrete (-6.4% compared to November 2024), and the maximum was minus 42% – in some types of pipes.

At the same time, according to the analyst, in a number of industries the financial result is even worse. For example, in January-October, coal mining in Russia resulted in a loss of 327 billion rubles (about 4.2 billion dollars) – compared to 84.4 billion in January-October 2024.
In general, according to analysts, Russia spends up to 40% of its budget on war, which seriously depletes the economy and makes it vulnerable.
