“Tonight, air defense forces and electronic warfare equipment repelled a UAV attack on the territory of the Volgograd region in the Kalachivsky district and in the Zakanallya district. As a result of the downed UAV, a fire broke out at the Volgograd Oil Refinery. Fire and rescue forces quickly began work – the fire was quickly localized, open burning was eliminated. There were no casualties,” he said.

As reported by local media, there was a fire at an oil depot in Zhovtnevo, Volgograd Region.

Bocharov reported that the possibility of evacuating residents of nearby buildings is being considered.
