Viktor Orban, who blocked 90 billion euros for Ukraine, after consultations with the President of Serbia, convened an extraordinary defense council due to the fact that explosives were found near a strategically important Serbian gas station, Index reports.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
After the defense council meeting , Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó shared a video on his Facebook page, explaining what the council members discussed. He stressed that Europe is approaching a huge energy crisis, primarily caused by the war in Iran and Ukraine. According to the minister, this situation will require even more raw materials, while Ukraine is trying to block the supply of oil and natural gas to Europe.
“Previously, the Ukrainians blew up the Nord Stream pipeline. After the explosion, they said for a long time that it was the Russians, which would be somewhat illogical. In fact, it would be completely illogical, because why would the Russians blow up their own pipeline?” – Peter Szijjarto made another scandalous statement.
The minister spoke about the problems associated with the Baratşag oil pipeline, and then touched on the topic of attacks on the TurkStream pipeline.

He added that soldiers would protect the gas pipeline, “transshipment points along the entire length from the Serbian-Hungarian border to the Hungarian-Slovak border.”
Viktor Orbán confirmed information provided by Péter Szijjártó that the Hungarian section of the TurkStream gas pipeline will be placed under military protection. The Prime Minister called the incident an act of sabotage, adding that no one was injured and the pipeline is operating without any problems.
In turn, the main rival of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the leader of the opposition “Tysa” Peter Magyar, sees the allegedly foiled sabotage at the gas pipeline in Serbia as a staged operation. It is aimed at disrupting the elections in the country.
