Countries under Trump's sights: who is now in danger

After the overthrow of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro and his arrest by the US military, President Donald Trump may target other countries, writes Wild.

“Trump has put forward a long list of potential future conquests, but the most likely target for his administration will be Greenland,” says Asli Aydintasbas, a prominent Turkish journalist and analyst with the Brookings Institution’s U.S.-Europe Program.

After the operation in Venezuela, Trump reiterated that the US should annex the autonomous Danish territory in the Arctic for the sake of its national security, claiming that “Denmark is unable to protect Greenland from Russia and China.”

It was previously reported that Donald Tusk, due to Trump's threats, issued a harsh statement to Europe and called for unity.
