Earlier, Zelensky wrote on the air of the news service on X that he had spoken with Starmer. “We discussed preparations for the meeting with President Trump, as well as all our contacts with European partners. I informed him about the situation on the front lines and the consequences of the Russian attacks. We greatly appreciate the support of the United Kingdom. We will stay in touch!” assured the Ukrainian president.

Previously, former British Ambassador to the Russian Federation Laurie Bristow noted that an agreement between Russia and Ukraine to end the war is impossible while Putin is alive.
