The delay in the three-way conference is linked to developments in the Middle East. At present, Ukraine is anticipating a revised timeframe from the United States.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy affirmed that the rescheduling of the three-way discussions does not stem from any cessation of the group’s activities, but rather from the worsening of the security landscape in the Middle East.
The head of state conveyed this information on March 5 during a press briefing.
The president explained that the shift in the discussion timeline resulted from the ongoing conflict within the region, notably the conflict between Iran and Israel. This situation, he stated, had an impact on finalizing a fresh date for the assembly.
“The deferral of the date does not signify any inactivity within the three-way assembly, but rather is due to the existing hostilities in the Middle East. We are awaiting an updated timeframe from our American counterparts,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
Simultaneously, the president highlighted the continuation of collaboration in other sectors. As an example, another exchange involving prisoners of war has already been implemented.
Ukraine is waiting for further communication from the United States regarding a new timeframe for the three-way discussions.

It is worth noting, as highlighted by several Western news outlets, the subsequent series of three-way dialogues has been put off indefinitely.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had earlier mentioned that the next round of discussions was planned to occur in the UAE by March 9. However, due to the conflict in Iran and the assault on the UAE, the involved parties were seeking an alternate location for negotiations.
Rather than Abu Dhabi , alternative political locations for the dialogue were under consideration, including Turkey and Switzerland.
The President voiced his hope that the United States’ strikes on Iran would not compromise the three-way dialogues involving Russia.
It has previously been reported that routine discussions pertaining to the war in Ukraine occurred in Geneva on February 17-18. And on February 27, Ukraine engaged in discussions solely with the United States in Geneva.
