The cost of tourist visas to Egypt for foreign citizens, including citizens of Belarus, has increased from December 3, 2025.
This information, as reported by a correspondent for the online publication Belnovosti, was received from the TASS agency , citing a decree from the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
According to the document, the entry visa fee has been increased by US$20.

Thus, the new price is $45 instead of the previous $25.
The decree, signed on November 30, came into force the day after it was signed.
The decision to increase fees was approved by the House of Representatives (the lower house of parliament) of Egypt on November 2, but did not come into force until the decree was signed by the head of state.
Domestically, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry's initiative to increase visa fees has drawn criticism.
The Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Tourism has appealed to the government to prevent such a move.
Industry representatives fear that rising entry costs could weaken the country's position in the international tourism market and negatively impact the industry's recovery from the pandemic.
