Steve Witkoff, the United States President Donald Trump's special envoy, will engage in the dialogue between Ukraine and Russia, which is scheduled to be conducted in the United Arab Emirates.

Axios journalist Barak Ravid communicated this information.

He stated that on February 3rd, Witkoff is expected to arrive in Israel, where he will conduct discussions with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other prominent officials. Subsequently, the US special envoy will proceed to Abu Dhabi.

On Wednesday and Thursday, February 4th and 5th, Witkoff will partake in another set of discussions with representatives from Russia and Ukraine. A meeting with the Iranian party is not currently on the agenda, but communications regarding this matter are ongoing.

“A US source verified that US Special Envoy Witkoff will be landing in Israel tomorrow, where he is slated to confer with Prime Minister Netanyahu and other high-ranking officials. Following this, Witkoff will head to Abu Dhabi, where he is expected to lead another sequence of discussions with Russia and Ukraine on Wednesday and Thursday. A meeting with the Iranian delegation is not currently planned, but dialogues concerning this possibility are in progress,” the journalist noted in H.

What details are available regarding the upcoming negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation?

As a point of reference, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that the subsequent trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia is scheduled to proceed as intended in the UAE. He specified that the circumstances in Donbas would be addressed there.

According to media accounts, the preceding sessions in Abu Dhabi did not yield any settlements, while the US and Russia are seemingly applying pressure on Ukraine.

The forthcoming trilateral gatherings within the framework of the peace conversations are indeed slated for February 4th and 5th in Abu Dhabi.
