In two sets, she beat Russian Daria Zelinskaya with a score of 6:4, 6:1.

Earlier in the tournament, Gotovko had already managed to leave behind the Frenchwoman Marie Ville (7:5, 6:2) and the Lithuanian Andre Lukoshute (1:6, 6:4, 7:6) in a tough three-set match.

In the fight for a place in the final, the Belarusian will face Egyptian representative Yasmine Ezzat.

The day is also going well for Alena Fala, who is performing in Monastir, Tunisia.

In the quarterfinals, the Belarusian proved stronger than the Italian Federica Urghesi, finishing the match with a score of 6:3, 7:6 (10:8).

Alena's next opponent will be Chinese Jia-Jing Lu; the match will take place on March 7, 2026.

Unfortunately, there were some losses. Irina Shimanovich and Russian Maria Kozyreva failed to reach the doubles final of the WTA-125 tournament in Antalya, Turkey.

In the semi-finals, the Belarusian-Russian duo lost to the Argentine-French tandem of Nicole Huergo and Estelle Casino – 4:6, 4:6.

Let us recall that in the singles competition, Shimanovich started confidently, beating Italian Lisa Pigato (6:2, 6:3), but in the second round she lost to Ukrainian Alexandra Oleynikova (5:7, 1:6).

Nevertheless, the success of Gotovko and Faley suggests that the Belarusian tennis players are in good form ahead of the final battles.
