WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump said on Tuesday he would “gladly” cut funding for US public broadcasters NPR and PBS, which Elon Musk's Department of Government Effectiveness is reportedly set to review this week.
“I would love to do that,” Trump told reporters when asked if he would like to defund National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service, saying the amount they receive is “grossly unfair.”
