The Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh has recently become a magnet for Belarusian tennis successes.
The local courts are hosting an ITF tournament, and Belarus' Yulia Gotovko will continue her fight for the main trophy in singles.
In the semi-finals of the competition, she left Italian Camilla Zanolini out of work, finishing the match in two sets – 7:5, 6:4.

Gotovko's path to the final was eventful and required the athlete to demonstrate true character, reports a correspondent for the online publication Belnovosti.
The day before, she faced her compatriot Anna Kubareva in the quarterfinals. This Belarusian derby had to be decided in two tiebreaks, and Gotovko prevailed, 7-6, 7-6.
Before this, the starting barrier in the person of German representative Johanna Silva and the match with Italian Verena Meliss also remained behind her.
Tomorrow, March 1, the Belarusian will face Slovenian Ela-Nala Milic in the decisive match. This match will determine the champion's title in Egypt.
Belarus also achieved success on another tournament front – in Antalya, Turkey, where the more prestigious WTA-125 series is taking place.
Irina Shimanovich excelled here, not in singles, but in doubles. Together with Russia's Maria Kozyreva, she confidently dispatched the Argentine-Spanish duo of Yulia Riera and Leyla Romero-Gomez.
The semi-final match ended with a score of 6:2, 6:3, leaving no doubt about the superiority of the Belarusian-Russian pair.
In the doubles final, which will also take place tomorrow, Shimanovich and Kozyreva will face the international Thai-Japanese tandem of Peangtarn Plipuek and Momoko Kobori.
