Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu and Syrian Head of State Ahmed al-Sharaa, aided by the US, came to terms on a cessation of hostilities that gained endorsement from Turkey, Jordan, and surrounding nations.

This information was conveyed by the U.S. Ambassador to Turkey, simultaneously the special envoy from Washington for Syria, Tom Barak, in a communication on the X platform.

“We encourage Druze, Bedouins, and Sunnis to put aside their weapons and, in conjunction with other minority groups, forge a novel and cohesive Syrian identity in harmony and affluence alongside bordering states,” the declaration articulated.

As a reminder, Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu is of the opinion that Iran is gearing up for an authentic nuclear assault, and should it acquire such weaponry, its employment is certain.
