RM Sotheby’s is conducting an auction of a collection of uncommon Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Dubai . The overall worth of these autos is approximated at around $4 million.
The announcement appeared on the auction company’s official website.
The collection showcases eight Mercedes-Benz models manufactured between 1955 and 2018. Each one is in pristine shape.
The oldest and most valuable vehicle in the collection is the renowned Mercedes 300SL Gullwing coupe, which has a price tag of over $1 million. It stands as the globe’s premier production automobile featuring gullwing-style doors and direct fuel injection. Its anniversary was recently celebrated.
Also of significant worth is the modern limited-run 2007 Mercedes SLR McLaren 722 supercar, anticipated to garner between $600,000 and $700,000. Only 150 units of this 650-horsepower vehicle were ever made.
An even rarer piece is the supercharged Mercedes CLK DTM AMG convertible. In 2006, just 80 of these sporty cars were produced, boasting an aggressive body design and a 582-horsepower supercharged V8 engine.
The 1990 Mercedes 190 Evo II, engineered by AMG and Cosworth, is highly sought after by enthusiasts. It boasts a 235-horsepower engine along with a prominent wing. Furthermore, the Mercedes 500E W124 incorporates a V8 engine designed by Porsche under its hood.
