Four years later, charter flights to Egypt have resumed from Brest.

The first charter flight from Brest to the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in four years has successfully launched.

The Boeing 737-800, as reported by a correspondent for the online publication Belnovosti, departed on the route with a full occupancy rate – all 189 passenger seats were occupied by residents of the region, who had rushed from the winter cold to the summer sun.

The resumption of the regular charter program was a significant event for Brest and the surrounding region, providing local residents with the opportunity to conveniently fly directly from their city to vacation destinations without the need for lengthy transfers to the capital's airport.
