At first glance, performing concerts on three continents within 24 hours seems impossible.
However, there is one musical group that managed to do this.
We are talking about the iconic British rock band Def Leppard.
The musicians set the record in 1995.
How Def Leppard Set a Record
It happened on October 23, 1995.
The musicians first traveled from London to the large city of Tangier in northern Morocco. The flight lasted three hours.
After playing a concert in Africa, the members of Def Leppard returned to the British capital, where they performed another concert.
That same day, the musicians also visited Vancouver, Canada, where they also delighted fans with a live performance.
Thus, in 24 hours, the members of the rock band Def Leppard managed to perform on three continents: Africa, Eurasia, and North America.
This achievement was not ignored by the compilers of the Guinness Book of Records.
This means that Def Leppard are record holders. And they still hold that status, as no one has ever managed to break or even match the record.
