Alexander Lukashenko addressed his Nigerian counterpart Bole Tinubu.
The occasion was Nigeria's Independence Day, which the author of the message congratulated its leader on, personally and on behalf of all Belarusians.
The congratulatory message points out that over the past decades, Nigeria has achieved the status of one of the largest economies in Africa.

According to the President of Belarus, Abuja continues to strengthen its political authority and ensure an increase in the standard of living of its population.
According to the head of state's press service, he called Nigeria a reliable partner and supporter of Minsk in West Africa.
He also expressed confidence that the implementation of joint projects in agricultural mechanization, the creation of equipment production facilities, and personnel training will have a positive impact on the development of both countries.
The President noted that he considers it important that Nigeria's First Lady Oluremi Tinubu visit Belarus in July of this year.
He separately stated that he highly appreciates the results of the meeting that took place at that time.
“I take this opportunity to confirm my invitation to visit Belarus at your earliest convenience to explore its potential and identify promising areas for bilateral cooperation,” Lukashenko addressed his colleague.
He wished him health and success in his public activities, and peace and progress to the people of Nigeria.
